John Kinraid has been a landlord for more than 20 years, specialising in student accommodation around Otago University, right here in Dunedin. Under the company Kinco, it’s a family run business and the Kinraid family live locally, so that any maintenance problems can be dealt with quickly and easily.

Mike is your main contact if you’re looking for a student flat near the University or Otago Polytechnic. He has been working with John for over 10 years and knows the student area incredibly well. The other Kinraid sons; Cain, Liam and Rohan are part of the maintenance team and you may see them around cleaning and tidying, painting, gardening and mowing lawn.

All Scarfie Flats are student accommodation that is within walking distance of the University of Otago and the Otago Polytechnic. If you’re looking for cheap student accommodation, we offer some right across the road from the University Commerce building and Polytechnic buildings. If you’re just looking for a room in a flat, we can usually find you a room in a flat that will suit you, just contact us.
